The service was absolutely 5 star...

Loved our trip to Halong Bay, especially  with Indochina Sails! The service was absolutely 5 star, with an incredibly clean and beautifully decorated boat, lovely rooms, incredible food (the best I had in all of Vietnam) and really fun activities including the most beautiful kayaking I've ever seen amongst the islands of the Bay. 

There was nothing they could have done better and the boat was truly amazing, for the price we paid it was a steal for what you get. I wasn't sure what to expect, and seeing their online brochure made me feel they must be a very good company but I was blown away when the photos looked exactly like the real thing, which is rare! 

A most memorable experience for us ...

Indochina Sails has indeed delivered the standard and quality of services which was advertised in your company's website. The cabins and all the facilities areas were very well maintained. The services of your staff were excellent. In our entire travel of vacations around Vietnam, I must say that Indochina Sails has left a most memorable experience for us.

Our oasis ...

Halong Bay is one of the most beautiful and impressive sights in Vietnam. In order to truly explore its beauty and peacefulness treat yourself to a cruise on Indochina Sails, preferably on their junk Valentine (their smallest boat with only 5 cabins).

Indochina Sails picked us up in Hanoi and drove us in a minivan to Halong Bay. There we boarded Valentine - our oasis for the next 24 hours. The rooms are beautifully and stylishly decorated, a mix between east and west. The bathroom had a jacuzzi and rainforest shower!

The cruise started off with a 6 course lunch while cruising through the beautiful limestone mountains. In the afternoon they took us to climb one of the mountains and then to a beautiful little bay far away from all the other tourist boats to go kayaking. Dinner again was a 6 or 7 course meal, beautifully arranged and absolutely delicious. After dinner the crew organized some squid fishing. Next day, we had a Tai Chi lesson on board, while cruising through the beautiful morning scenery. After an excursion to the Surprise Cave, we were served a superb breakfast and then sailed back to Halong Bay.

Exploring the Bay with Indochina Sails, especially the Valentine, is the only way to do it, in our eyes. It allows you to be almost on your own and experience the peacefulness and mysticism of it far away from the crowd.

Our family went on the Halong bay cruise with your firm recently. We had a magnificent time. The staff, boat and food were all wonderful.

As a 26 year veteran of the US pharmaceutical market, I realize it is quite difficult to hire and train good managers. During our two day trip, your General Manager, Jerry, did a wonderful job of attending to the guests while leading his staff.

He was always available, asking guests how their trip was, to answer questions, and to ensure the guests received the services they requested. He also discreetly coached his staff. For example, after a staff member poured a glass of wine during the wine tasting, Jerry quietly and discreetly provided the person feedback and instruction. Future glasses were poured correctly.

If I was to start a cruise line, Jerry would be the first person I would hire.

We hope to travel with your firm again before our return to the states in mid-September.

Will remember forever ...

This was an experience that my wife and I will remember forever. Deciding to go with Indochina Sails and stay 2 nights on the Valentine was an excellent decision.
